Eryrys Gardening Club held its first meeting in August 2002. The club meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm.
Meetings take place in Canolfan Dewi Sant/ St David’s Centre in Eryrys. Between September and April, the club is entertained by speakers on various topics. A Christmas Wreath Workshop is held on the 2nd Saturday of December; this year it will be on Saturday 5th December 2026, 1pm-3.30pm. £15 Booking is required.
This year in December a social meal at The Sun Inn, Eryrys is arranged, everyone and partners are most welcomed; ‘Look forward to seeing you’.
During the summer months – June, July and August – we try to arrange visits to gardens and places of interest sometimes by appointment, most of which open for the National Garden Scheme. In June there is a Plant Sale to raise funds for the Club, members donate surplus plants or grow them especially for the Club. This year it will be held on Saturday 6th June 2026, 1pm-3.30pm. Plant donations are really most welcomed; as this is our main source of income to keep the club open.
The only other income for the club comes from the £3 entrance fee paid to attend each meeting.
If you are interested in gardening, then do feel free to come along to one of the meetings. No Membership fees – just come for a chat and a cuppa! We are all learners!
