DVSC is delighted to announce a new round of Dementia Aware Denbighshire Funding to support activities and initiatives spreading dementia awareness throughout the county.

This grant which has been enabled by funding from the Welsh Government Integrated Care Fund will give Voluntary and Community Groups, Third Sector Organisations, Social Enterprises and Small Businesses (less than 100 employees) who operate in Denbighshire the chance to apply for up to £2,000. Individuals can also apply for grants up to £250.

Grants are available for events, activities and training sessions, which can raise awareness about dementia and encourage people to turn awareness into action and improvement in their communities.

“We have supported a variety of groups across Denbighshire through this grant over the last years. These projects have delivered incredible support to individuals and families living with Dementia.  This new grant will allow us to continue to help new and existing initiatives in the county from North to South to continue this great work”, explained Rebecca Bowcott, DVSC Community Wellbeing Officer

DVSC are operating a rapid grant decision-making process with applications being considered on a rolling basis until funds are disbursed.

Mae CGGSDd yn falch o lansio rownd newydd o Gyllid Ymwybyddiaeth Dementia Sir Ddinbych i gefnogi gweithgareddau a mentrau sy'n lledaenu ymwybyddiaeth o ddementia ledled y Sir.

Bydd y grant hwn sydd wedi'i alluogi gan arian o Gronfa Gofal Integredig Llywodraeth Cymru yn rhoi cyfle i Grwpiau Gwirfoddol a Chymunedol, Sefydliadau Trydydd Sector, Mentrau Cymdeithasol a Busnesau bach (llai na 100 o weithwyr) sy'n gweithredu yn Sir Ddinbych i wneud cais am hyd at £2,000. Gall unigolion hefyd wneud cais am grantiau hyd at £250.

Mae grantiau ar gael ar gyfer digwyddiadau, gweithgareddau a sesiynau hyfforddi, a all godi ymwybyddiaeth am ddementia ac annog pobl i droi ymwybyddiaeth yn gamau gweithredu a gwella eu cymunedau.

“Rydym wedi cefnogi amrywiaeth o grwpiau ar draws Sir Ddinbych drwy’r grant hwn dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf. Mae'r prosiectau hyn wedi darparu cefnogaeth anhygoel i unigolion a theuluoedd sy'n byw gyda Dementia. Bydd y grant newydd hwn yn ein galluogi i barhau i helpu mentrau newydd a phresennol yn y sir o’r Gogledd i’r De i barhau â’r gwaith gwych hwn”, esboniodd Rebecca Bowcott, Swyddog Lles Cymunedol CGGSDd.

Mae CGGSDd yn gweithredu proses benderfynu grantiau cyflym gyda cheisiadau yn cael eu hystyried ar sail dreigl nes bod cronfeydd yn cael eu talu.
